Industrial Electricians for Hunter Valley Mine Site Project

Our client is a leader in electrical engineering services across Australia. They operate an established workshop in the Lower Hunter Valley servicing the largest mining and industrial clients in the area.
Key products include portable underground control rooms and conveyor electrical systems for the mining sector and a range of automated electrical systems for the power sector. This company provides new, well organised workshop facilities and top of the range pay for electrical roles.

The Role
We are pleased to offer four opportunities for licensed electricians to join our client’s project team. The focus of these roles will be:

  • Construction and handling of industrial components including switchboards and cells, transformers, bus bars and bus plugs;
  • These works will occur in a new Lower Hunter workshop and be followed by commissioning on an Upper Hunter mine site;
  • During the workshop phase mine site inductions and training will be provided as required.
You will report directly to the Workshop Manager and then the Site Foreman.

Skills and Experience
To be successful you will need:

  • An electrical trade certificate and NSW supervisors/contractors licence;
  • Demonstrated competency in construction and commissioning of complex industrial electrical systems.
Candidate who also have current Ravensworth – XStrata and Damstra inductions, MDG25 training, Low Voltage Rescue and/or CPR certification will be highly regarded.
