Planner – Scheduled Maintenance

Our client has won a long term contract with one Musswelbrooks largest open cut coal mines. They require a Planner to work on projects on site and also at their workshop based at Rutherford.
Typical works include scheduled maintenance works on excavators and above ground drill rigs.

You will report directly to the Project Manager, who in turn will report to the mine site. You will be relied on to deliver quality works, much of which will be based around gant charts.

The projects are not ongoing 12 months a year.
However, there is an immediate start and work schedule through until September. Following this there will be further projects.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

The successful candidate will be:
• Experienced working on a mine site and aware of typical policies and procedures
• Experienced and competent using Microsoft project
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Familiar with heavy plant and equipment
• A mechanical trade qualification is desirable but not essential
• Able to undergo a full pre employment medical

There is a very attractive casual pay rate on offer of up to $75 per hour. There is also accommodation and meals provided for a non local applicant while projects are on site at Muswellbrook.
