Workshop Project Coordinator

An ongoing opportunity existing here for an experienced Workshop Coordinator to work in a busy metal fabrication workshop located in the Lower Hunter Valley.

As you can see below, the work scope is quite specialised and must have had this experience previously.

The Work:
• Planning, organising, directing, controlling and coordinating all of the work that comes into the workshop
• Relaying all information to the Workshop Manager in a timely manner
• Getting all paperwork back to client as per timeframe. Ie – QA documentation & timeline programs
• Ensuring all materials are ordered on time and received as requested
• Ensure that all subcontractors meet their completion dates
• Reporting to clients as per requirements
• This is a busy steel fabrication workshop that requires deadlines to be met under tight pressures

Essential Criteria:
• Must be from an engineering trades background and be competent in interpretation of engineering drawings
• Must have similar work experience to the above mentioned
• Must be able to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure

What is on offer:
• This will depend on the suitability of the candidate, although for the successful applicant salary would be based between 80-100k
