A progressive company in the coal mining industry has two long term casual roles open for Trade Qualified Boilermaker’s working on light to heavy fabrication in their Musswellbrook workshop.

The project requires top quality experienced fabricator’s who can do it all – and do it well. Plate must be cut to 0.25mm tolerance. If you are marking out with chalk this job is not for you.  You will also need to weld (mig) out your own work.

The role will suit locally based workers to Musswellbrook who can start from 28th April.

OFFERING:

• Casual pay rate around $39 per hour

• Penalty rates and some overtime

• Clean new build work

• Quality team, workshop and management

• Likely to go beyond 3 months work

 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Trade qualified Boilermaker

• Strong ability to read drawings, marking out, cutting and fabricating

• Commitment to safety at work

• Strong with mig welding (down hand and vertical up)

• Team player with good old fashioned work values

• Available immediately to interview and complete a mine services medical

 

THE WORK:

• New Build of underground mining machinery

* Heavy plate work for chassis builds

* Light fabrication & modifications to components

* A well set up workshop including a paint booth and assembly area.
