This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced account manager to join our business based at Warabrook.

We present a challenging role that requires substantial knowledge and experience in Industrial Relations, Workplace Health & Safety and Sales all within the context of the Mining, Engineering & Construction industries.

This role will report to the Managing Director and assume the below responsibilities:

  • Managing client accounts and workers including contract negotiation, industrial relations and workplace safety matters
  • Filling labour orders utilising a substantial candidate pool and all aspects of recruiting new candidates
  • Compliance with our WHS Manual including return to work coordination
  • Winning new contracts and re-engaging inactive clients. This said it is more an account management focus than business development and we do not make “cold calls”
  • Frequent meetings at workshops , mine and construction sites with clients and placed workers

The successful person for this role will hold the below experience and qualities:

  • Integrity, drive and commitment to meet promises made
  • Emotional intelligence, success focus with huge attention to customer service
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in industrial relations (Award and EA interpretation) and WHS compliance
  • Management of engineering and construction trades including boilermakers, fitters, electricians, carpenters, machine operators and labourers
  • Servicing mining services and / or construction clients
  • Strong sales ability including contract and pricing negotiations – you must enjoy selling and believe in your service
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Digital marketing and social media know how
